These apple cinnamon oat bars are so cinnamony and so appley (is that a word?) that I really just couldn't stop at one. You need three, at least, maybe five. Or six. Or seven.
These apple cinnamon oat bars are the very essence of autumn in the form of a delicious and easy-to-whip-up dessert that is both refined sugar free (thanks to Nutrient-Rich Date Syrup) and gluten-free. I hope you enjoy the recipe!

Ingredients

1 apple, grated
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¾ cup oats
- ¼ cup oat flourÂ
- ¼ cup Nutrient-Rich Date Syrup
- â…“ cup almond butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Handful of chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 365ºF.
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until well-combined.
Tamp the mixture down in a parchment-lined loaf pan until perfectly flat.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top, then bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Chop into bars and serve!
