These 5-Ingredient Christmas Cinnamon Star Cutouts are absolutely delicious and cinnamony, and are so fun to eat and make! They are refined sugar free, sweetened with Nutrient-Rich Date Syrup, and very much recommended if you value happiness, Christmasiness, and cinnamon.

Ingredients

2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extractÂ
- 1 ½ cup softened butterÂ
- 1 ½ cup Nutrient-Rich Date Syrup
- 3 ¾ cups all-purpose flourÂ
- â…“ cup ground cinnamon
Directions
Mix all wet ingredients together until smooth, then add cinnamon, and then flour. I recommend using a stand mixer! Only mix your dough as long as it takes for the ingredients to come together, as overmixing can lead to the overdevelopment of the gluten, which can lead to over-dry cookies!
- Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour or until easy to handle.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out your dough and use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out your cookies.
- Place your cutouts onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes at 350ºF.
- Finally, enjoy with a glass of milk or be nice and save the cookies for Santa!
