Ingredients
-
2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp Nutrient-Rich Date Syrup
-
8 ounces pitted cherries, frozen or fresh
-
2 tbsp liqueur or port
- â…› tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp almond extract
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
If you’re using fresh cherries, pit your cherries and remove their stems.
- Melt your butter in a skillet, then add in your cherries and date syrup and cook until your cherries are tender (about 8–10 minutes).
- Add in the liqueur and salt and cook until the liqueur no longer smells sharply of alcohol and the cherries jubilee is noticeably thickened.
- Mix in your extracts.
Finally, enjoy on ice cream or pound cake and be happy forever!
