Ingredients
-
1 cup date paste
- 1 cup coconut milk
- ¼ cup date syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of salt
Directions
Soften your date paste via one or two 30-second increments in the microwave or until soft. Add to your blender.
- Heat coconut mlk until it is warm to the touch (but not hot enough to simmer), then add to your blender.
- Add date syrup, vanilla, and salt.
- Blend until smooth.
- Use on your parfaits, bread, ice cream, rice cakes, or as a dip for your fruit or pretzels. Enjoy! :)
Pro tip: I recommend refrigerating this after you make it in an airtight jar. It remains usable at least for a week, possibly longer before it begins to ferment! After that point, you can simply scoop off the fermented top and just use the stuff at the bottom.
