Ingredients

¾ cup mashed bananas or applesauce
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour

3 scoops collagen (or equivalent of chocolate protein powder. Keep in mind whey protein or too much collagen may make the cake drier, adjust wet ingredients if needed.)
- ½ cup date syrupÂ
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powderÂ

2 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk
- Pinch of salt
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips + more for topping
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F
- In a mixing bowl, combine wet ingredients.
- Sift the dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Pour the wet ingredients in and mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Grease or line a loaf pan and scrape the batter in evenly.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool and serve.
