Ingredients

1 medium red onion
-
1 Tbsp butter
-
1/3 cup date syrup

2 Tbsp stone ground mustard

Salt to taste
Directions
Slice onion in half and slice thinly. Place in a medium pot with butter.
Sauté on medium high until soft and translucent, about 7 minutes.
Add the date syrup, mustard, and salt to taste. Stir
together and cook another 5 minutes to let all the flavors cook together.Turn off heat. Delicious
served on burgers or on crostini.
