This recipe for cinnamon scones uses Date Lady Date Sugar instead of white sugar to provide a gentle sweetness. No need to feel guilty about reaching for a second once of these!
Ingredients

2 cups flour

3/4 cup date sugar

1/2 tsp cream of tartar

1/2 tsp baking soda

2 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp salt

1 stick butter, cold

1/2 cup plain yogurt

1/3 cup milk

1 egg
Directions
Mix all dry ingredients together and then cut butter in until it resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside.
Whip egg, yogurt and milk together and mix into dry mixture, just until it holds together.
Gently shape the dough into a circular mound and flatten a bit, but not too much - you want think scones!
Use a large knife or pizza cutter to cut into 8 pieces. Place on greased cookie sheet or baking stone and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
