I LOVE cinnamon rolls, but all that white sugar? Not so much. Here's a sweet, sticky cake twist on the classic dessert sweetened only with dates!

Ingredients

1 cup date paste
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup date syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon

2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup date sugar
- 3 TBSP unsalted butter, melted

Date syrup to taste

Directions
Preheat oven to 350F
- Combine the cinnamon topping ingredients in a small bowl, stir to combine, and set aside.
- In a blender or food processor, add date paste, eggs, date syrup, olive oil and vanilla and blend until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the date paste mixture until batter is smooth and just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9x9 baking dish. Sprinkle the cinnamon topping evenly over the top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Drizzle date syrup over top if desired and enjoy!
