Author:Camryn Lapp
Ingredients
-
1 ¼ cup chocolate chips
- 1 TBSP coconut oil
- 35 mini pretzel twists
- 1 granny smith apple, peeled if desired
- ½ cup of our Refined Sugar Free Caramel Sauce recipe
- Flaky sea salt for topping
Directions
Wash and/or peel your apple, then chop into small cubes.
- In a large bowl, combine 1 cup room temperature water with ½ tsp salt. Add the diced apple and let sit for 5-10 minutes. Drain, rinse, and pat dry.
- Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a double boiler or microwave safe bowl and melt until smooth.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour 1 cup of the melted chocolate on the parchment paper and smooth into an even layer with a spoon. Put the rest of the melted chocolate into a piping back or ziploc, seal, and snip off the corner.
- Arrange the pretzels in a single layer on top of the chocolate, then drop the apple pieces evenly as well.
- Take ½ cup of the date caramel sauce recipe, and drizzle over the bark. Top with the rest of the melted chocolate. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
- Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer for 30-60 minutes, until the chocolate is firm.
- Break the bark into pieces and enjoy! Store extras in the freezer.
