Ingredients

½ cup butter, melted
- â…“ cup Nutrient-Rich Date Syrup
- ¼ cup vanilla or plain protein powder
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- â…“ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375ºF and line a single baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt your butter, then mix in your date syrup, vanilla extract, and egg.
- Add in your baking soda and sea salt and mix well.
- Add in your flour and chocolate chips (and walnuts or pecans if using them), and mix until well-combined.
- Roll your cookie dough into a ball and flatten it in the middle of your parchment-lined pan.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving!
