Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 cup plain yogurt

1 cup Nutrient-Dense Date Sugar

3 eggs

2 tbsp lemon zest

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup butter (or oil of choice)

Lemon Syrup
Directions
Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease and flour two loaf pans, lining them with parchment paper if you so desire.
Cake
Mix all your dry ingredients in a separate bowl until well-combined.
Mix all your wet ingredients in a bowl until well-combined.
Combine mixtures and mix until smooth.
Divide combined mixture into loaf pans, and bake for 45–60 minutes, or until a knife or toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Lemon Syrup
Mix date syrup and lemon juice together until both are well-combined.
Conclusion
Poke tiny holes in cakes with a fork, then pour the lemon syrup over them and allow them to soak and cool.
Finally, slice each cake up and enjoy!
