10 Minute Chocolate Date Truffles
If you're a fan of a quick and simple recipe that is still out of this world delicious, then you're going to LOVE this one. These delicious truffles take 10 minutes or less to create and can be made with any of your favorite toppings. We highly recommend pouring melted chocolate on your truffles and popping them in the freezer for about 15 minutes for a nice chocolatey bite.

Ingredients

1 cup of date paste

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1 tsp vanilla

1 Tbsp date syrup

1/4 cup nut butter such as cashew or peanut butter

pinch of sea salt
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Form the mixture into balls and roll into a small amount of cacao powder or topping of choice.
Transfer to parchment paper
Optional: dip finished truffles in melted chocolate of choice and set aside until set.

So easy but rich and just enough sweetness! I made 32 instead of 16. I rolled some in cocoa powder, some in finely chopped pecans, sprinkled some with fine sea salt and inserted sliced almond pieces in the rest. My husband and two friends loved them!
