Recipe: Roasted Cashews

Date Lady Roasted Cashews

We cannot say enough about these roasted cashews. They're the perfect balance of salty and sweet and fantastic with a cold drink or a casual get together. 

2 cups cashews
3 Tbsp Date Lady Pure Date Syrup 
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Tbsp water
1 tsp coconut oil

1. Place cashews on a baking sheet and toast for 10 minutes at 350°F.
2.While you wait, stir together salt, chili powder and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, stir together the Date Lady Pure Date Syrup, water and coconut oil. Add the toasted cashews, and stir to coat.
4. Spread cashews back out on baking sheet and sprinkle with spice mixture. Place back into the oven for 3-4 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
