Directions

1. Mix ingredients until well combined.

   
   

2. Use scoop or roll dough into 1-inch balls and then flatten gently with the bottom of a jar or other object until flat and evenly spread. 

   Note: These cookies will burn easily, so they will bake best on parchment paper, silpat or baking stone. A well-greased cookie sheet can be used if one of those options is not available. In that case, you might want to bake for a couple minutes less than the recommendation.

3. Bake at 325 for 13-15 minutes. Let cool completely.

4. Optional Finish: Spread Date Lady Chocolate Spread on the flat side of one cookie. Top with another cookie so that you create a double stack, or cookie "sandwich" so to speak. Garnish with toasted nuts or date sugar and cinnamon if desired!
